20 RecycleBank Points!

Here's a quick 20 points at Recycle Bank just for taking a short quiz all about the Pantene® Nature Fusion plant-based bottle (up to 59% excluding cap)! #rbbeauty

From Recycle Banks' wiki:

Recycle Bank is a company headquartered in New York City with offices in Philadelphia and London that rewards people for taking everyday green actions with discounts and deals from thousands of local and national businesses. It does this providing points to its members for an array of environmentally-friendly behaviors including recycling their household garbage, using energy more efficiently at home, reducing water usage, buying greener products and even by walking to work instead of driving [6] (see Transport for London). Recyclebank also uses its digital platform to educate consumers on green behavior through “Learn and Earn” quizzes that give Recycle Bank users points for correctly answering questions about ecology, energy and the like, and through interaction via Facebook, Twitter and mobile applications  These points can be used at participating local and national rewards partners (see Partners).

Recyclebank was founded in 2004 by Patrick K. FitzGerald and Ron Gonen and a pilot program that focused on recycling was launched in two Philadelphia neighborhoods. With its rewards for recycling programs, Recyclebank forms partnerships with cities, counties and towns that are designed to drive up recycling rates. Homeowners receive Recycle Bank points based on the recycling weights.  Get paid to go green!

Send Earnings is offering $3.50 to use Turbo Tax and same goes at Inbox Dollars. Since you have to file your taxes ANYWAYS, why not get paid for it! I even saw a company offering $250 to take a survey after you complete your e-file if you were willing to wait until April 1st.  Click Here for that study. The ability to make money is Always there, you just have to look a little harder for it. I filed my partners taxes last night and got paid $5.12 this am via Ebates, even though she has used that SAME company for e-filing before. All I did was log out before I sent the taxes in, did a click through via Ebates and submitted them. Boom, thats it

Secret Shoppers NEEDED

I have had great luck this year with my secret shopping. I handled a lot of my holiday shopping and even saw some concerts All paid for by someone ELSE! If you can handle waiting 30-60 days to get reimbursed, then secret shopping is a great way to add some extra cash.

Here are a few of my favorites right now:

Best Mark: PLEASE Put Shopper ID: CA25472 as your referral system on the second page of the application. We both get extras that way. They even do Casino and Concert Mystery shops! You'll hear back from them within 24 hours and then you can begin your shops. Great local electronics retailers and major bars are always on the hunt for shoppers.

Intelli-Shop: Please indicate that Kellie Luther referred you, if asked. This one is great, high volume of shops that can be done from your house, never even leaving your chair.

Tons more are found on Volition.com and I can provide more info if needed.

Earn Cash Back Shopping

So its almost as good as using coupons, but it hasn't' caught on as much. If you shop at all online, you need to be using a shopping portal such as Ebates or Shop At Home. All these sites ask is that you click through them before going to your shopping destination. In return, they will give you a percentage of your order back in cash. They don't pay that quick, typically once a quarter and there is some waiting involved, but since its free money back, why not wait for it. I've been with Ebates since 2008 and have earned..... $871 and change.  There are very few sites that aren't online and I find that you can also use them for the specials that the coupon people you are following offer up as well. So not only are you paying rock bottom prices, you are earning cash back on top of it.  I haven't used Shop At Home as much, but I will be receiving my first check in Feb for all my Christmas shopping I completed. Also, new members on Ebates get a $5 to $10 joining bonus with your first purchase.. Any office managers out there or authorized purchasers for companies, it works on Office Depot and Staples too! Travel buffs, check out the hotel and car rental area, get paid cash back on booking your vacations.

Here's a picture of my earnings on Ebates  and for all fellow bloggesr, they are offering referral contests for ipads and cash money.

Survey Savvy

I have enjoyed being a member of the SurveySavvy.com community and thought you might find it fun as well. This company paid me $150 to go bra shopping with me at two spots near my house, not the most embarassing thing I've ever done, but close!

As a member, you can make a difference by participating in online surveys, focus groups, as well as other interactive studies.

SurveySavvy is unique from other online panels because of its patented referral program that gives you incentives for every survey your referrals complete and additional incentives for every survey their referrals complete. This represents growth to your account balance regardless of whether or not you actually complete any surveys!

Focus Groups Pay more than Surveys

In doing my surveys, there occasionally is a focus group or bulletin board. I LOVE focus groups, they pay better than any survey ever will and there are more and more companies doing them every day. Start with Focus Forward and then join a few others, like Schlessinger  then head over to SlickDeals and find a few more in your specific zip code. Also try FocusGroup which finds them and aggregates them for you. These are occasionally online but more often in person, where you sit and give your opinions, sometimes in small groups, sometimes one-on-one. The ones I've done always have a check or cash waiting for you when you leave and since I monitor and make sure I'm never over $600 with one company, I never get a 1099 at the end of the year.

Happy New Years!

What a great year 2011 was! I ended up with just over $4800 in earnings, I spent under $100 on Christmas gifts because of all the amazon gift cards I had amassed, AND I used my Visa giftcards from the Harrahs promotion to pay for my vegas new years trip. No too bad with my 5 nephews, 5 sisters and 6 inlaw, plus wifie and everyone else out there. There are many changes in the different survey companies right now. More and more mergers are happening and we are not seeing as many good paying sites last long. I continue to update my earning sites and I'll continue to do surveys as long as I'm making money. I also ended 2011 with 26 product tests, which isnt' too shabby. Every time I was about to buy cat litter, I would snag another product test, so the timing was amazing! I saved hundred of dollars on cat litter alone. Slick deals is still my go to site for finding new focus groups and I continue to recommend new surveys as the come out, depending on the reviews I receive on SD. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
