As part of the One2One network, I was able to access David Gray's new album Mutineers a lil bit early! I have been semi-obsessed with him since I first heard This Years Love. Mutineers seems to be along the same lines in term of tempo and depth. The best and worst part about it is you always know what to expect with his music. The songs grow on you but none stand out as THE song you have to hear over and over again. Upnote to that is you dont get sick of them. they are timeless and you can listen to them for four years while you are waiting for a new album (sort-joking) and they still sound as current as when you first played them
For those that are not familiar, The record is Gray’s tenth studio album and his first in four years. To mark the news, Gray has unveiled the video for ‘Gulls’, the first track from Mutineers to be streamed ahead of release.
