As you know, I did the influenster holiday vox box. I HIGHLY recommend signing up for Influenster, if you haven't already. imPRESS Press-on Manicure

As you know, I'm part of the Influenster Holiday Vox Box and received products to test. Here is my feedback on the imPress Press-on Manicure set I received. Sadly I wasn't able to use most of them because i have really wide fingers. When I used to get acrylic nails, they would try and shave my nails in and they would always end up lifting at the edges when my real nails grew out. As with almost all press-on nails, these are made for the normal size hands out there and mine just aren't normal. They are gorgeous and come in a variety of shade and colors. The ones that did fit seemed to really adhere well, but it looked funny with some done and some not so I removed them.  Check out all the colors and styles here, i really wisht they had a fat hand selection so I could join in

so with the lull in surveys, i'm turning to shopping to bring home some extra cash. Not just shopping, but getting cash back on my holiday shopping. You already know I love ebates, but i'm focusing on ShopAtHome now. They pay out at $20+ but some of their percentages are higher than ebates. i'm not giving up on ebates but I do like that I can print out grocery coupons too while i'm there.

I'm going to stop recommending big crumbs, the tracking of most of the sites I use is not as automatic as ebates and sShopAtHome have been. i know they have a wide variety of stores, but I hate to have to keep track an submit a tracking ticket then wait 90 days for them to find it..

traditionally december is a very slow month for surveys, i have a few scheduled for the month and i dont think i'll get many more until January of next year, Luckily with all the delays, I should still bank about $400 next month, just with cashouts and the sort.  Here are the sites I'm still using, some are great and some not so much, but hey, the more I have signed up with the more opportunities I have to earn

Global Test Market: A great site where you earn points that convert to cash. I get about 4 surveys a week from them, each with between 25 and 100 points for completion. I DO NOT complete the sweepstakes surveys, why do it for entries when they can pay you cash. Offers an affiliate program to gain more points.  Payout is $50.00 or 1000 points.

AIM For few cities around the US however, Top Paying Focus groups… Range from $45 to $150 an HOUR, Pay via check on the spot.

Trotta For California only. Top Paying Focus groups… Range from $45 to $150 an HOUR, Pay via check or cash on the spot.

Toluna: Pays via check or rewards cards BUT Be careful with these tricky guys. $20.00 = 60,000 points. Most of their surveys will say 30 minutes for 900 points. thats only $0.30.. Do NOT complete a survey unless it pays you at LEAST $0.10 a minute.. Thats 12000 for 40 mins, etc.. Do the math!

My Opinion Now  Slow with their surveys but do HUGE product tests, which are great and often pay via check. Keep invites and make sure that they credit.

American Consumer Panel – Once you earn 10 US dollars ($) in your account to request a cash-out via paypal or check, but its not instant, can take up to 2 weeks to receive payment. Each survey amount varies but I do get some great product tests (PTs) from them.

Opinion Outpost: A new favorite of mine. Pays between 20 and 50 points per survey. Points convert directly to cash. Currently pays via INSTANT amazon (via email for safety) but working on adding paypal (hopefully). Each point equals $0.10. Offers an affiliate program to gain more points.

My Survey: A site where you earn ‘points’ which can be converted to dollars. Earn points for joining, taking surveys and referring others, Redeem points for cash, prizes or charity donations with just a few simple clicks. 1,100 points = $10.00 cash via paypal. Just merged with Lightspeed (a previous favorite) so some kinks are being worked out.  Added perks.com rewards redemption so much faster and easier

Valued Opinions Average survey is around $2.00, cash out once you reach $20.00. The value of the rewards varies per survey and will be stated clearly on your invitation. Once your account reaches $20 you will be able to redeem your reward in the form of an amazon instant gift certificate. This has paid me well over time. This company has fallen out of my favor, they USED to be great, but are going through some issues.

Survey Spot:  Be entered to win in monthly drawings as well as some cash surveys.  Added paypal but also added this horrible points system, keep ALL survey invites that you complete. DO NOT Complete the survey until it pays you enough, My costs is simple, i have to have 10 point per minute, which equals $0.10 a minute. For example, I won’t do a survey unless it pays say 200 points = 20 min survey.

Clear Voice survey is around $2.00, cash out with $10.00 minimum. The value of the rewards varies per survey and will be stated clearly on your invitation. Recently they changed  it to be some very LOW paying surveys, I’ll leave it at your discretion whether you want to do them or not. They have paid me in the past but often times now are not worth the time it takes to complete. Payout is Amazon ($10.00) Payoneer Prepaid debit Mastercard ($10.00) and Dining Dough ($10.00).

Crowd Tap: This is a new site where you can win money for for contributing to discussions. It pays you directly and also makes a 5% donation to the charity of your choice. This is from the same company as Rep Nation, from which I won a free phone and some other goodies (including $50 cash). Not quite a survey company but not much effort required to get paid. Used to pay well, but have not kept up lately. I’ve stopped using them but its up to you.

Mindfield Online – Pays frequently and straight to your paypal. Surveys range from $1 to $4 each.

Socratic Forum Currently running a sweepstakes for new members. Every referral you get enters you to win $5,000, for you and your referral. List of previous rewards here Surveys are almost always for $3.00 and I have never had an issue.  Pays via amazon gift cards or donations to charity. Quick payout!

HCD Surveys Rewards are accumulated on a point system in which 100 points is equal to $1. Points can only be redeemed for US dollars. Paid via check. every day is christmas at my house!! we are currently product testing about 8 rolls of paper towels AND toilet paper and now i got into the bzz campaign for Private Selection Frozen food AND cookies! My skin is so soft right now!

So i've been using the products provided in my buzz kit by BzzAgent and what a difference. Great Surprise

Such a great surprise to wake up to, but Ebates just credited me from up to last year for some missing rebates that were due.  I had $78 yesterday that was coming me way on Nov 15th, now i have.... $188 !!! bad freaking ass.. someone is going ot have a nice lil shopping spree in about 2 weeks.. thank you hotels.com and ebates

 

for those that dont know, ebates is a site you log into before you go shopping, it then pays you a percentage back once a quarter. So every time I book a hotel room on Hotels.com, I get 3.5% cash back. This is on top of any other bonus you may get from the website you are shopping on and in addition any credit card rewards you get. Its just a nice lil bonus. There are also tons of toehr sites, but I started with ebates and I also use it for all my work purchases, so Its costing me out of the pocket but I'm earning an average of $100 a quarter for shopping.

Opinion Outpost is back in full effect, it still tries to sneak in a few low paying surveys but overall, its getting it done. OO pays based on a point system where 10 points equal a dollar, so keep your minimum hourly rate in mind when completing surveys but overall, they pay quick, have few errors and keep the surveys coming..

Surveys for Points

there are a million and one new survey sites, all offering ridiculously low paying options right not, you have to be careful and read through the points with a fine tooth comb. Global Test Market (GTM) offers a value of $.05 per point, so when a survey says 10 mins for 30 points, thats $1.50 for 10 mins, which is great. However, Toluna's points are 60k for $20, but they send you a ton of surveys indicating 1800 points for 20 mins, thats only $0.60, which sucks for 20 mins. Survey Spot's points are 1000 for $10, which is ok, but they will also try and get you to do 30 min surveys for 50 points, you wouldn't take a job that paid $1.00 an hr, why would you do a survey for that low? I try, TRY, to get $0.10 a min at all time. occasionally i'll do less but its pretty rare.

Everyone is on the couponing craze but did you know you can take it one step further and get cash back to coupon? There are sites that will pay you per coupon you redeem or on top of any coupons you use in the store. Inbox Dollars  and Send Earnings both pay you $0.10 per coupon you redeem and Swag bucks gives you 10 points per coupon.  Saving Star   is a company that pays you via paypal or amazon for coupons you load onto your card but doesn't affect anything in the store. For example, Price was $0.99 for some wacky mac in the store, Used a $0.50 coupon I had from the paper taking the price down to $0.49, and Saving Star  also paid me $0.40 to my account, so the net price of the Wacky Mac was $0.09 after all is said and done.

Step by STEP

There are step by step directions listed below. If you follow them, the money will follow. I make no promises about how much you will make, as everyone is different, but you can earn a decent sized amount doing nothing more than answering questions and testing product. One warning, NEVER prepay for something. There is no reason to pay $29.95, $79.95 or more for the survey sites. NO legitimate survey company charges a fee to give you access. Also, no company will charge you to test their product. I have tried out kitty litter, baggies, hair products, tanning products and much more.

Step 1: Sign up for a free gmail account. I know you probably have a yahoo/hotmail/etc, but I prefer gmail for the filters. You'll see why that is important later

Step 2:  Send me your new email address and ask me to put you on the list. (Kellie ms.chic @  yahoo.com) This will put you on the first notice list, where we can add you to the newest survey sites and keep you in the loop.

Step 3: Sign up for Roboform. This software is free, IF after you've started using it you like it, i encourage you to purchase it. It can save all your passwords, links, and information in one place. This is key if you are filling out multiple surveys per day. Once you've installed this program, go and enter your information into the identity fields. I do NOT enter my business information, nor my banking/payment info. This prevents some fraud and also from my boss busting me for having too many emails coming in.

Step 4: If you have not already done so, sign up for a Paypal Account. Most sites will pay via check but some offer Paypal. Also sign up for an Amazon account. A lot of companies are now offering the option to pay via Amazon Gift Cards, which can then be used on a variety of sites in addition to Amazon.com. Some other sites will simply mail you a check once you reach the payout amount or request payment.

Step 5: Begin signing up for the sites listed below and the sites under review page. You should use your new gmail email address and the information you auto-saved in your Roboform.

Step 6: Go into your gmail account and set up some filters/labels. For help in doing so, go here. This will help you see which companies are sending you the most surveys and which may not have your correct info. Do check your spam folder often, sometimes surveys are sent there by mistake. Step 7: Create an excel spreadsheet of all the survey sites you use and your log ins. Also create a spreadsheet for every dime you receive. I keep three tabs on the bottom, one for paypal, one for checks, one for amazon and i keep the updated daily!

Another beautiful weekend!

two great things happened this weekend! one i got my check from USA Talk Now for my 2 day technology blog and two i got $25.00 for two hours of my time from Choozz (same parent company as SurveySpot)  Both Choozz and SurveySpot payout via instant paypal which is just about the best thing in the world to me. No need to hit the bank or wait for a check, just instant cash! USA Talk Now doesn't give you a ton of surveys but the vast majority of them pay really REALLY well. i think i spent maybe 3 hours TOTAL for my $125 and it was a super easy board too!

Cash Back Shopping!

By now, you've seen the commercials from Ebates saying how much people get paid to shop. Well its true. I have made over $620 from ebates, another $103 from Big Crumbs and just signed up for Shop At Home and hope to be earning with them soon.

 

How It Works is simple, before shopping online, you check into the home page of Ebates (or any of the others) you then find your store and click the link they provide. This is KEY! Ebates even has travel sites, so every time I book a room, I get cash back. Every time I order office supplies for work, I get cash back. Every time I shop on ebay, I get cash back (on hold at the moment) when you reach a certain pay out amount, they send you a check or transfer it to your paypal.

These sites also offer discount coupons. My advice is any time you shop online, double check with these sites first! You'd be surprised at how many sites offer up cash back. These sites will also pay you for referring your friends, usually about $5.00 each friend you refer. So you share the savings and earn even more.

Get Paid to Sites

Get paid to sites are a bit different from your average survey site but do pay well. I am a member of quite a few and will start with Inbox Dollars and its sister Send Earnings. Basically you get paid to ready emails they send you daily ($0.03 each email) get paid to print coupons ($0.10 per coupon redeemed) take surveys (varies) and much more. I have been a member for well over 5 years now and LOVE the simplicity of these sites. Plus they start u with $5.00 in your account just for signing up. Most people think just couponing is the way to save money but how about being paid to coupon, thats real money there.

Just found out... there's no bzzkit..

just found out there is no buzz kit, so i'm supposed to pay full price for an item and then review it.. ummm.. no.. i only review items that i've received a discount for. i know that seems boushey, but i have completed plenty of bzz and i hate when they do this. u get all excited to join a campaign and then NOTHING. you are expected to do all this legwork and you dont honestly get much in return. sadly, this often happens when a company gets too big and has too many members, thought i've been a member since 2008, i'm not receiving the same quality bzz kits I used to and I think i do pretty well with my parties and my buzz..

Survey Spot, not so friendly today

i'm gearing up my paypal and trying to earn as much as I can before year end, Survey Spot, among the quickest ones to pay out (instantly actually) and its LAGGING today!! hate it.. hopefully you can have better luck, www.surveyspot.com ..

Quick Note

I rarely do free surveys. Every survey invitation you receive should clearly list what you will be paid for completing the survey. I don't do surveys that pay less than $6/hr, unless I have a lot of time on my hands. That's a MINIMUM of $3.00/30 mins and $1.50 for 15 mins. I try to keep my minute rate around $0.10, a lot of people do more but thats my bare minimum, since I'm at work anyways most times I'm taking the surveys. I don't do surveys for sweepstakes entries and don't recommend that you do them either!

So many payments came yesterday!! Got $75 from Valued opinions for doing the website evaluation and $20 for my previous surveys. Also got $25 from Talk Back Surveys and another $2 from Esearch and then finally $25 from C&R Research for doing an Invoke with them!! Brings my yearly total up to $2999.75 in checks, amazon and paypal! Only $0.25 til 3k! who says you can't earn money from surveys
