Ebates is always punctual!

Got my Big Fat Ebates payment! This quarters total? a sad and lonely 41.29 but free money is always welcome at my house!!

Its completely ridiculous to me that some people shop out there and don't use Ebates. There is no fee, no extra work really on your part, just a simple click through. Have to order from Staples? Click through Ebates and earn 2% cash back, EVEN if you already have a staples account. Have to book a hotel, click through Ebates and earn up to 15% cash back.

Want to order those shoes you saw but don't feel like going back to the store, click through Ebates and have them delivered, earn up to 15% cash back. Yes, you have to wait a lil bit for it, but hey, since its free money, what's the harm in waiting. I joined Ebates in 2008, and didn't really use it that often. Now when I have to book rooms for my tech's at work, i earn 3% cash back on top of the rewards my company earns on the amex card. Its free money for me and them!

Fresh n Easy BzzKit

so I received my bzzkit yesterday and love the bag plus the coupon, but i'm a bit disappointed by the shareables. They gave me four (4) friends cards to share with friends, that come preloaded with 250 (2.50) points for the Friends Program. That's a nice deal, halfway to redeeming your first $5.00 off at Fresh and Easy. Only one problem, its the same deal you get if you walk in off the street and sign up for a fresh and easy friends card. There is not much incentive to handing these out to people, they can get the same thing at the store.

Secret Shopping

While surveys have been slacking off a bit lately, secret shopping is doing better than ever. I get paid to go to concerts, get my oil changed, go grocery shopping, play at regular stores.. All reimbursed and paid for by someone else! Here are some of hte sites I'm currently using:

QAMS - tons of lil shops requiring less than 45 minutes for completion. Get in, Get out, get paid.

Other ways to Earn

I do a ton of junk online to earn me money and I only recommend a select few. I have a few sites that pay me to read their emails and sign up for new adventures. A few sites pay you to print out coupons and redeem them and a few sites just pay you to sit there and watch ads.

Deals n Cash = same company as Hits but free money is free money,  Now you can get PAID to read ads on the net for FREE! Deals'n'Cash will pay members to read e-mail, visit websites, shop online, and more!

Swagbucks = pays you to redeem coupons, take polls, search the internet and much more. I have cashed out over $120 in amazon bucks in the 1.5 yrs i've been with them.

Inbox Dollars =a combination of all the sites above, and the strongest earner I have.

Lack of Surveys

so far, this year has been my worst ever in doing surveys. Companies have marketed themselves right and are getting people to take surveys for pennies, or sweepstakes entries when they used to pay me for my opinion.  I made under $400 this year and that is what I'm used to making in a single month. I haven't given up, in fact, I"ll never give up, as long as I'm still making money, but sheesh, they are making it more difficult to keep with it. That being said there is still money out there. An extra $400 is nothing to cry about, its free money and well spent. I've also been mystery shopping to pick up the slack and i LOVE that. It has more than made up for my lack of surveys and keeps me going shopping without having to stress about it. They take a bit longer than surveys to pay, but when you think about it, Mystery Shopping is just a survey about your shopping experience, so I should be great at it. I get paid to test drive cars, shop at local stores, eat at restaurants, go to concerts and drink at bars!

Earn Cash Back Shopping

So its almost as good as using coupons, but it hasn't' caught on as much. If you shop at all online, you need to be using a shopping portal such as Ebates or Shop At Home. All these sites ask is that you click through them before going to your shopping destination. In return, they will give you a percentage of your order back in cash. They don't pay that quick, typically once a quarter and there is some waiting involved, but since its free money back, why not wait for it. I've been with Ebates since 2008 and have earned..... $871 and change.  There are very few sites that aren't online and I find that you can also use them for the specials that the coupon people you are following offer up as well. So not only are you paying rock bottom prices, you are earning cash back on top of it.  I haven't used Shop At Home as much, but I will be receiving my first check in Feb for all my Christmas shopping I completed. Also, new members on Ebates get a $5 to $10 joining bonus with your first purchase.. Any office managers out there or authorized purchasers for companies, it works on Office Depot and Staples too! Travel buffs, check out the hotel and car rental area, get paid cash back on booking your vacations.
